Ingredients
Dough
1/2 cup white sugar
1/4 cup butter, melted
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup all-purpose flour
Topping
1/4 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees.
- In a large bowl, mix 1/2 cup of sugar, 1/4 cup of margarine and nutmeg.
- Add in milk, vanilla, baking powder and flour. Mix unti you can see a smooth texture.
- Place batter into a greased muffin tin – makes about 6 muffins.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes (tops will be golden brown)
- In a small bowl mix sugar and cinnamon. Take each muffin and dip into melted margarine and rolling in the sugar.
